The Portuguese Cod is a recipe that unites the nobility of the Nordic fish (Salted Cod) with Mediterranean flavors, such as high-quality olive oil, olives and capsicum. It is a "must have" in every Brazilian's especial celebration.

Cooking Instructions:

Oven - From Frozen

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan forced).
  2. Place the foil tray on a baking tray. Do not open the foil lid.
  3. Place baking tray in the oven, directly onto middle rack and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the foil lid and bake for another 10 minutes to brown the cheese.
  5. Remove it from the oven when the cheese is browned, the sauce is bubbling and an internal temperature of at least 75°C is reached.
  6. Allow to stand for 10 minutes and serve.

 Oven

  1. Take the dish out of the freezer and let it thaw in the fridge for about 24 hours.
  2. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan forced).
  3. Place the foil tray on a baking tray. Do not open the foil lid.
  4. Place baking tray in the oven, directly onto middle rack and bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove the foil lid and bake for another 10 minutes to brown the cheese.
  6. Remove it from the oven when the cheese is browned, the sauce is bubbling and an internal temperature of at least 75°C is reached.
  7. Allow to stand for 10 minutes and serve.
